    Toshiba 39L433D need firmware

    Hi everyone,
I'm trying to fix my sister's Toshiba 39L4333D TV with motherboard model number 32L4300 REV: 1.02.
After a power outage the tv automatically turns on when plugged in and does not respond to any input (remote or direct buttons).
It stays on the last viewed channel.

Searching for other threads on this forum I've found another user that had a similar issue, but the url for the firmware is dead (toshiba link).

I've tried to download a bin file I've found online to flash the firmware, but it seems incompatible, it still turns on by itself but this time it remains stuck at the logo splashscreen.

    Thanks in advance.

EDIT:The model number is 39L4333D not 39L433D. I've missed another three.

    Re: Toshiba 39L433D need firmware

try a simple reset, unplug tv from power, press and hold power button for 30 seconds let go, leave tv unplugged for a few minutes, then plug it in and try it.
Hopefully they can get the badgering under control, the guilty need penalized. I will only be an occasional observer til then. Owner told me more than once that a mod told him to ban me. Guess that's my reward for contributing, lets see how it goes, the rudeness is NOT needed. Tact = A keen sense of what to do or SAY in order to maintain good relations with others or avoid offense.

      You need firmware number "7.1.92.61.01.1".

I already did that, but since I could not remember on which firmware I tried that
(I've tried 2 bin files I've found online, 1 same model and the other it was a similar model), I've flashed the backup I've made, unfortunately it still behaves the same way.

There, you will probably need to change to your panel, that is, "39" and the letter at the end "X" - this is the manufacturer of the panel, as in the instructions.

                1. download the “software version” (.zip) from our site
                2. Unzip the file and open the folder
                3. Before putting the files on a USB drive, check the file name:
“xxRL933K_562000_INIT_CLEAR.bin” where xx represents the size of the screen in inches and K the type of
panel (there are also L panels, check the back of the TV, for the serial number, to
know your type of slab). For example, for a 40RL933, rename the file as follows:
                40RL933K_562000_INIT_CLEAR.bin
                4. Put the files on a USB key
                5. Unplug the television completely from the mains socket.
                6. Insert the USB key containing the update into the side USB port.
                7. Switch the television on again by reconnecting the mains plug: The green and orange LEDs indicate that the
                day is loading...
                8. Once the update is complete the screen displays:
                9. Remove the USB key.
                10. Switch the TV off and on again,
                11. Reset the TV via the MENU, SETTINGS by validating the line “Reset TV”.
                12. Reinstall user settings (channels, network config, etc.)

                  Re: Toshiba 39L433D need firmware

I saw your other posts too late, I have already flashed the firmware through USB.
Way easier than using a programmer.
It works now, it responds to inputs, at least in the initialization menu.
                  Thanks a lot.
In case there are any issues related to the wrong filename I will reflash using the correct filename.
                  Again thanks.

Put your original 25q16 firmware back in place and try updating the firmware via usb.
The name of the firmware should look like this "UPDATE_50L7363C_1926101_INIT_CLEAR#.enc".
