I reassembled the printer, it was difficult because it has been months since I disassembled it so I didn't remember how to assemble it but I got it done and this disassembly video helped me https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hgiCGBt-C3U
Those ribbon cables are a nightmare, they are so thin and you have to push them in which makes them buckle, very bad design. I put silicone spray on one of them to try and make it go in easier.
I sanded the cable and the plastic tab that fell off of two of them and superglued it back on.
I powered up the printer and guess what, same error as before.
Out of curiosity I measured the output(emitter pin) of the 16V NPN BJT while powering the printer up now that it's assembled, and it gradually went to -0.12V, what does that mean? I wonder why it went negative. at no point did it have 16V.Comment

by L3gitHi all, first I'd like to say thank you for taking the time out of your day to help me. So I have this HP Officejet Pro 8620 Printer that doesn't want to print at all. Once I turned the printer on I'm given this message “the print head appears to be missing, not detected, or incorrectly installed. Error Code: 0xc19a0013.” I was wondering if it's still worth repairing and if so what can I do to fix it? I've attached pictures of the message and the printer itself. Thank you again!...

by gaby_64Hello, I am looking for a MC-G01 eeprom dump with low utilisation count. I need it to reset my maintenance cartridge. Its not actually full, I mistakenly left the service lock on and then proceeded trying to troubleshoot what I thought was a printhead issue, I did serveral deep cleanings with no ink actually flowing out. After realizing my mistake I also did an ink flush that I cancelled mid way, this still incremented the waste ink cartridge significantly to the point that the printer won't let me print anymore.
If anyone has such a rom to share, it would be greatly appreciated.... -
by ArtefilHi,
One of the partner I'm mostly working with, brought his Officejet 8012e, facing a problem I'm failing finding a solution.
On the Officejet 8012e, there's only one USB connector on the back, for connecting the printer to a computer.
The screen displays the following message :
"a problem has occured with one of the printer's critical system files. A printer update will be installed to fix this problem"
But even if the printer is connected through wifi to the network, nothings happen, and the printer stays idle for days.
Have you ever...09-28-2023, 05:11 PM -

Attempt to print and immediately get a Windows pop-up saying "Error printing". The document appears in the printer queue window with Status "Error-printing".
Turned off printer. Unplugged, waited, replugged. Ran the Windows troubleshooter. Removed and reinserted toner cartridge. Checked for paper jam. No printer error lights. Reinstalled driver. Restarted the Spooler service. Rebooted...06-22-2023, 11:11 PM -
by re-atariHello all, as the title says, I'm very much in need of a valid firmware dump of a Anycubic Photon 5.5 3D resin printer. It's stored in a Winbond 25Q32, so it's 4Mbyte.
Here's a little background for my request. A few weeks ago I bought this 3D printer from a guy who had moved on to a PLA printer. I got it at a vey reasonable price, as it was in a defective state. The seller told me that he had experienced a power failure during a firmware upgrade, after which the printer appeared to be dead. He thought the firmware was corrupted in such a way that the printer was now bricked. As he... - Loading...
