Worth saving ? analyze this psu for me please
Ok, this is for Dell laptops - sold by MicroBattery, was surprised when I open it and saw cb.
Is this worth saving ? 3.34A really ?
Build quality seems low for me,both screws looks used, thin wires and dirty cb with what looks like dry flux.
Tell me what you think and please give comments based on pictures.Attached Filesif you find these attachements useful please consider making a small donation to the site

I have a Samsung QE55Q65B with a seemingly common problem: it turn off and back on after a few seconds, (sometimes more, and in rare instances works for hours). D001 on the left side of the panel is very hot. I may be able to remove it with a very fine iron, but i don't have the equipment to re-solder such small parts.
Is there a risk to run the tv without this diodes diodes? And is it worth to pay someone else to replace it. I read many people who ended up with bad lines after trying to remove/replace them, , or the panel failing in another way, so i want to weight... -

I have a KOGAN 58' LCD Panel that 'flickers / pulsates' when in energy saving mode.
I've reset the unit to factory default & rerun the initial setup but no change.
IF I choose any other mode, example: Standard, flickering disappears.
I've downloaded the most recent FW for this model from Kogan's website & re-flashed. This initiated a full wipe of the unit, which subsequently led to the setup all over again, however, the issue still remained - screen flickering but only when in 'energy saving' mode.
I've taken the unit apart,... -
by ohrenI'm looking at a vented C513 in a Marantz SR5400 (photo included), in the FR section on page 24 in the service manual (https://audiocircuit.dk/downloads/ma...400-avr-sm.pdf).
R533 right below it in the photo is charred, but measures the correct value.
1. I'm not familiar with amplifier circuits (at all — don't know the difference between classes, etc.) so I was wondering what problems would manifest from a supposedly non-operational C513? I didn't hear anything odd when testing the output channel with a speaker. Is there a simple test that can be done...1 Photo-

by ipn00ticIs this oscilloscope sufficient to analyze all points on a laptop motherboard? PWM of IC and mosfets for example, or detect communication between super IO for example?
