Trying to choose a replacement zener diode

    Hi,
I'm troubleshooting the power board on this TV, with some help here and there, and I found this zener diode that is shorted, among other things.
The P/N is 1ZB36 BL, here is the datasheet: http://www.mediafire.com/view/?iyadi5csc4k9dfd

Since I can't find the same one to order it I'm trying pick a close match from digikey.

Would this one be ok despite the difference in reverse current ratings?

    Thanks!

Lower reverse current should be okay.

Isn't it the other way around? That is, if the replacement zener diode is rated for a higher reverse current, it should be better (assuming all other parameters such as voltage and wattage ratings are the same or very similar).

The spec is for Leakage current:

It is the leakage current before the apply voltage reach the Vz voltage point of the Zener Diode.
          http://www.reuk.co.uk/What-is-a-Zener-Diode.htm

The 36V Zener (1N4753A) that he wants to use has
          Current Leakage of 5µA @ 27.4V

The original has leakage of 10uA @28.8V

Yeah, I should have specified reverse leakage, not just "reverse current".
