Hello, any news regarding the original schematics request?
I have a board that won't come up, because 3.3V output rail from primary convertor (PU4501, RT6575D) seems to be shorted to ground. 5V seems to be OK, and according to my probing the PGOOD output goes 3.3V very shortly after connecting VIN (should mean high impedance output == power good) but then goes to ground and stays there. Both EN1 and EN2 are on HI, driven by EC.
I suspect PCH because that one gets hot when I connect power supply directly to the rail and start increasing current, but I'd like to rule out any simpler candidates before I try to replace the nasty big BGA chip :-/ Any ideas anyone?
That sucks :-( but thanks for info anyway!
Btw. is there at least some documentation for the EC (IT8226E-128)? I haven't found anything beyond pinout in schematics for some other laptops... I couldn't even identify the MCU instruction set from the rom image, all my disassemling attempts yielded very confusing results (some variety of mips16e looked most promising, but still a mess).

Hi, did you solved your problem? I have (probably) the same issue, and PU4501 is getting hot. Do you know what IC type is it?
