Is there anything wrong with the Rev 1.0 schematic posted above. Why does it have to be 4.5MB

4.5 Mb - or there was some other assembly rev1.0 or there were watermarks on the pdf. I haven't seen any other differences.

I'm not sure if the schematic is complete or if there are some gaps in the pages. I saw that there is a diagram on vinafix but it takes up more space so I am asking if anyone has such a file and can upload it to the forum

In my laptop there was a damage to the usb2.0 socket, after initial measurements it turned out that between the mass and the date - there is 10 ohms and between the date + and the mass is about 60 kohm. there is also a high impedance between vcc (5V and ground. The laptop is msi ge62 2qd motherboard ms16j21 ver1.0. is it possible that there is some element between the bridge and usb that could be damaged and ground date-. I found a diagram on the vinafix website but it is a bit too expensive for me to download it. and the free versions of the schematics may not be complete. generally the laptop works fine, the temperatures oscillate between 40-50 degrees and the other components work. Please advise what could be done with it, how to save these usb and is it profitable and how much can it cost.Thanks in advance for all suggestions

usb 2.0 , this laptop has only one usb 2.0 port, next to the sd card slot and the power adapter port

after connecting the mouse, the computer does not see the device, it does not recognize it. when I measure the signal pins with a multimeter, on the data pins I have 60kohm and 10 ohm. as one pin was shorted to ground. I do not know if there is a pullup resistor or some esd element between the socket and the bridge, there is no burn mark on the board and the computer works normally. only the usb2.0 port does not work.

Disconnect the cable from USB1 and measure signals directly on FPC1 motherboard. They go directly to the HUB.

I measured on a turned off laptop. when the 16j12 board is disconnected, it is out of range and when I connect the tape to the motherboard and measure on the pins, it has this value
