Hello Guys, first awsome for this boardview and shematics, thank you. Now after i tried to open the boardview with eagle9 it won't open. then i opened brd file with texteditor and i only get some symbols in it, in another forum it says, that the brd file is destroyed if in texteditor is no normal text. could someone help me pls ?Comment

Long shot but does anyone have a schematic & boardview for the audio board+power button on a Macbook A2179?
There is a shorted cap on mine and I need to know if I can safely remove it or whether I need to replace it and with what capacitor.

I have a 2018 MacBook Pro (with Sequoia OS) that I've been using for years with no problem. I recently received an M2 MacBook Pro so I'm mostly using it and not the 2018 one, but since a friend of mine needs a computer, I thought I could restore my 2018 and give it brand-new-like to my friend.
