The thing is, I accidentally ruined the wson chip while desoldering it, ordered a 8pin soip with the same features and now I need to put a new dump file on it. I don't have any backup dump from the previous. I read the new chip with programmer and works fine and its empty since its brand new from digikey. How do i proceed? thanks

Hi, almost a year ago, I removed the bios password from Elitebook 830 G7 and 830 G6.
Password was gone but had the problem with HP security endpoint for both of them.
I neglected that problem because was not very important for me, but now when I try to update firmware it just goes on a loop and never updates it, it goes back to windows login.
Something stops the update process and still the HP Endpoint security shows up like it always did. I checked the serials Board ID etc and they are good in the DMI.
My question is how to remove the security error, and should I upload the 16mb dumb with 32mb as well or just the 32mb dump?
I know this is the 830 G7 thread which i created, I will create another thread for the 830 G6 if necessary. Thanks in advance!Comment

Hi, I am not quite sure which one is the EC chip, from this 2.
I know about the bios chip because i removed it last year but when it comes to EC chip it has to be this one with 256 on it, right? just wanted to double check. The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.
Suspected Cause:
I suspect the BIOS may have been corrupted during a power interruption while updating the firmware. The official website provides firmware updates, but they can only be installed via USB flash drive.

Hi, I have an MSI PRO B660M-G DDR4 board with damaged BIOS and i need a bios dump from a real board, along with MAC, UUID and Serial Number info (eg. a BIOS screenshot and pictures from the board stickers).
I need to reconstruct the bios on my board, based on another bios image form a real board - meaning a bios image containing MAC address, UUID and Serial number. A stock BIOS is not suffiecient, as it is impossible to discover where the MAC, UUID and SerialNumber are stored. I have an EliteBook 850 G5. After a Windows update, including a BIOS update, the notebook turns on, but the screen remains black, and the fans spin at high speed—nothing else happens.
I assume the BIOS update failed, so I searched for the BIOS chip.
I found a Winbond chip located between the RAM and the hard drive, which has a size of 32 MB.
However, the BIOS update available on HP's website is only 17 MB in size. I used the update version that was previously installed when the notebook was still working.

I need a BIOS dump for MSI Z590 PRO WIFI from a real physical board, along with MAC address and serial no.
It must be a dump from a physical board, as it contains personalized data eg. MAC Address, UUID, Serial no.
I have a board which has lost the BIOS contents, I have the MAC and serial to this board, and need to insert it into the another BIOS image.
