I red recommendations, guidance, tips but as i cannot read reference of my laptop bios chip --> I have a doubt which programmer I need to buy

LENOVO Flex 5-15ALC05 Laptop (ideapad) - Type 82HV
S/N: PW0059H7

With a friend camera, I finally got the chip reference: WINBOND 74M12JWS ... but I found nowhere this reference as compatible with any programmer and nowhere in forum that someone experienced it --> any tip ?

As a workaround read it as a different chip - 25Q128FW , the Auto-detect will not work so you have to choose it manually from the support list.

thanks for your help it works, the laptop is back to life !

Last question: S/N was PW0059H7 and last available bios file for this laptop on LENOVO site is GJCN34WW ... and not GJCN29WW used in post #11 but more the one on post #25
Any reason of your proposal, any risk ?

you can try post# 25...if it works or you can update from the Lenovo website later to the latest version...
