3,6 is flash currumption detected by SBIOS so Try Extract this to a fresh FAT32 formatted USB. Remove battery and charger then hold the power button for 30 secondsGetting the same 3amber & 6white and full speed fan. Any other image.
Next plug in USB hold Ctrl+Esc and plug in the charger (normally it will power on automatically if the CMOS battery is unplugged) See if it updates and fixes the issueAttached FilesPremium supporters get full download access and other benefits.

Hey man, I really appreciate your help with this. It worked, and I’m very grateful for your support.
One thing I noticed though — the fan is running at full speed all the time. If you have any idea what could be causing that or how to fix it, please let me know.
Thanks again, I truly appreciate it.

Yes, i was not knowing it was locked one and i installed windows and it updated bios to the latest one 1.49v. If it would have been in older bios unlock would have been easier, I guess.Comment

Everything seems in place. Here are 3 working BIOS files I'll be posting for everyone V1.8.0, V1.15.1 and V1.25.0 (MBID GDF40 LA-K491P Rev: 2.0 (A01))
Try them and give it time to boot before attempting another one. They should work unless something is being done wrongAttached FilesPremium supporters get full download access and other benefits.

I tried all of the three bios dumps, but all have the same result " 6 times White " surprisingly no amber only white.
May be the latest bios has updated the ME or put an valid check for the ME. Just now i checked if i use with original locked bios its working as usual.
Let me know if we can try out anything else. Thank you!

by TopPopSorry for the long story. I have a Dell Latitude 5530 (i7) laptop (South Peak 15 MLK MB DDR4 203102-1 FK8VG$JA) with an admin BIOS password that I want to remove. Service Tag: HYKFPT3. Other than that the laptop worked OK.
I found a CH341A Black and went looking for the BIOS chip on the motherboard. After trying to read one chip that was a firmware chip but not the BIOS I think I found the BIOS chip labeled Winbond 25Q256JVEN. Altogether I think I found 4 different firmware chips in the laptop. The BIOS chip is a WSON8 6x8. I used the CH341A, NeoProgrammer, and a cheap pogo pin clip... -

by jhanraHi there masters, recently i got a dell 5400 chromebook and wanted to install windows, i searched the internet and i found out other people also wanting a UEFI bios for this model, i searched there is a R/W legacy, but there are bugs like keyboard/trackpad not working, and hard to install.
so i decided to try to port one, this bios is based on dell 5400 windows version, i am testing this bios for a week now an found only a little to no bug at all in windows 10, or only a minor issue
in windows 11 sound driver compatibility, but overall its ok, for me i can deal with it, 😅😅😅...-
