    Post moved to 5420 thread topic. If the password suffix is 8FC8 we can only help you if you post your bios backups, you will need an SPI programmer to do that, read the bios guides, https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...rces-and-tools

    I can't join on my computer... I mean, not even in the windows, so I only can go to BIOS booting mode.
    So I need to format my laptop, but has an admin password to boot from my Pen.
    I searched a lot to solve my problem but I can't go any further.
    Can you help me ?

    Hi there masters, recently i got a dell 5400 chromebook and wanted to install windows, i searched the internet and i found out other people also wanting a UEFI bios for this model, i searched there is a R/W legacy, but there are bugs like keyboard/trackpad not working, and hard to install.

    so i decided to try to port one, this bios is based on dell 5400 windows version, i am testing this bios for a week now an found only a little to no bug at all in windows 10, or only a minor issue
    in windows 11 sound driver compatibility, but overall its ok, for me i can deal with it, 😅😅😅...
