thanks man, unfortunately it seems to not work. Light comes on when power button is pressed then goes off after 3-5 seconds then comes on and keeps doing that. Am I supposed to do something else other than write the files? Also one thing I noticed is the 8mb chip i can't erase it says "WARNING, probable erasure failure." so I just wrote the new file without erasing. This could be the issue but I've nver encountered this error before.

            Hi everybody.
I need the BIOS for a Lenovo ThinkBook 15 G2 ITL with this motherboard:
            FLV35 LA-K052P
            Rev: 1.0
            2020-09-24
            Serial # MP25F6FV

I think I screwed up big time. The laptop was powering on but had no image, and I tried to dump these two chips in circuit. Now the laptop keeps bootlooping with no image and no HDMI output.
I desoldered both ICs and dumped them.

Is there something else that I need to dump?

            Thanks!

On your middle picture it looks like a resistor has moved. It`s the one next to the UC3 writing

Looks like besides what SMDFlea commented about the misaligned resistor, there's also 2 missing resistors near it
Check this picture, it shows 3 resistors there https://www.badcaps.net/filedata/fetch?id=2096307
            RC349, RC350, RC351, all 3 resistors are 33 ohms 0201 according to LA-K051P schematics/boardview https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...view-schematic
            (boardview is mirrored)

Here's BIOS in case you need it

            BIOS ver. F8cN47WW

Thank you so much for your explanation. Yes, as SMDFlea said, I managed to knock off two resistors and misalign a third one. I'm going to replace the missing ones, after that, I'm going to use the BIOS you provided 😊.

Again, thank you for your answer and for your time!!!

Have you managed to resolve this? I have the same issue, and yes, I also read the chip on the motherboard. I managed to repair three resistors that I knocked off and flash the chips thanks to SMDFlea and m1ch43lzm.

                Thanks!

                        Hello,

I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
So I thought it was a Bios problem.
I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....

                        by macabook
                        Hello everyone,

I’m currently working on a dead MSI GP75 Leopard (MS-17E71) motherboard (i7 CPU, NVIDIA GPU) with a no display/no backlight issue initially. After extensive investigation, I’m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Here’s a full breakdown:
                        🧩 Initial Issue
                        • Board powers on (fans spin, keyboard lights up and can be adjusted, caps lock led lights), but no display or backlight
                        • External display (HDMI) shows
                        ...

Lenovo ThinkBook 13s Gen 3 ACN – Need Help Fixing Corrupted BIOS (W74M12JW)
                        by HumanDev228
                        Hello everyone,
                        I’m working on a Lenovo ThinkBook 13s Gen 3 ACN (AMD Ryzen 5 5600U) with a Winbond W74M12JW 16MB BIOS chip

                        Symptoms:
                        • No display, fan spins, white LED blinking
                        • Temporary boot after flashing another BIOS
                        • Dies again after reboot
                        • Current BIOS dump appears corrupted (mostly FF-filled, no valid UEFI structure)

                        What I already tried:
                        • External flash with CH341A + proper 1.8V supply
                        • Flashed GMCN33WW-031F.bin (booted once, then failed again)
                        • Reflashed original dump → same issue
                        • Power reset, battery disconnect
                        • RAM reflow attempt (no change)

                        ...

BIOS for Lenovo ThinkBook 14 G8 IRL
                        by tops
                        Hello all,

I need the BIOS for the model mentioned above in order to remove Absolute, which is causing issues.

I acquired this device from a former employer, and for obvious reasons—given all the trouble and emotional distress involved—I do not wish to contact them again.

Here is the information I was able to retrieve by accessing the BIOS:

Product Name: ThinkBook 14 G8 IRL
                        UEFI BIOS Version: QZCN24WW (1.24)
                        UEFI BIOS Date: 2026-03-23
                        ME Firmware Version: 16.1.35.2538

[Problem/ Request] Bricked TongFang GK7MRFR BIOS
                        by cr4zychriss
                        Hello everyone,
I am requesting urgent assistance to unbrick my laptop, a rebranded TongFang GK7MRFR chassis. The laptop is completely dead following a faulty in-OS EC flash attempt.
I have successfully used a CH341A programmer and can read/write/verify both flash chips, but using my backups/extractions has failed to restore power. The root cause is likely a corrupted Intel Management Engine (ME) region or an incompatible EC/BIOS pairing. System & Hardware Details
