Lenovo flex 5-14alc05

Hi, Hoping someone can help, have a corrupted bios file for 14-ALC05 Lenovo Ideapad Flex 5, have managed to dump original bios.bin file but need original data extracted and placed into clean bios to reflash, dont have the S/N or anything as all the writing on the bottom of the laptop has come off and is unreadable, hoping the info was stored in original bios file and someone can extract it and place into new bios for flashing. Thanks heaps for any help

I don't have one. I never really looked into it until three days ago, when my computer stopped booting up. I do have the original BIOS (a corrupted file), though.

Yes Post that original BIOS (the corrupted file), it still holds immportant data

The Serial Number is wrong (pwq0yda7)
double-check and post the correct S/N, I'll make you a new BIOS file

It's likely hardware issue if you're doing everything corectly
Use a 1.8V adapter (of course) → erase the chip → write the file → verify the write

I managed to do it. Many thanks.
The mistake was on my end. Since the adapter wasn't holding very well, I didn't always delete the old version first—I would just install the new one. I then deleted it, installed the second version, and it works. Fantastic. Many thanks.

Hello. The laptop model is IdeaPad Flex 5 14ALC05; the motherboard code is LC56-14A SVT 203021, and the serial number is PW02ETS2. There was no display; I tried the solution shared above and got a picture, but now I'm experiencing a shutdown issue. Could you please help?

Bad backup, only 797 bytes compressed. Open the file with a hex editor and look at it it`s all filled with FF`s , that means it is empty , compare it to a working bios and you`ll see the difference.

Voltages look good, Power button blinks, Fan spins briefly, turns off and back on when the CPU temp rises eventually.

My last guess is a corrupted BIOS, could anyone take a look at this dump?
