Greetings from Germany, thanks to this thread i was able to fix my Laptop with the bios posted in here (Version 44ww). In my first attempt to downgrade with the normal installer i bricked my device, now i want to use the CH341a and need to shrink the bin file of the installer so that i can write to the chip manually. I want to install the Version 27WW. and was hoping some could shrink it for me. Thanks in Advance.

I need help with my legion Y540, it powers on with keyboard light and it's also charging.
I have programmed eventually all the bios file in this thread, each giving different symptoms

bios extracted from the Lenovo site update
                  DMI 632000 - 633FFF

I changed dmi and the laptop now does not turn on in any bios. Previously, it didn't turn on with the button, only after plugging in the power supply

you wrote the DMI information in another interval... if you write it correctly it will work.. try again.. make a copy of the original bios before writing..

maybe you didn't solder the bios chip well.. something happened, maybe you blew some resistance around the chip with the hot air from the blower.. check..

It's hard to say because I don't have boardview,
should your bios work without any changes?

yes... you don't make any more changes... it works even without DMI... but you will get a message to this effect every time you turn on the laptop... remove the bios chip from the board before writing... this is if the problem is the bios and you write it correctly..here is a video as an example...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWWigscuQDY
