Ok, flashed it, now laptop is completely dead. Before with the wrong (Lenovo?) firmware, at least LEDs were showing up. Now, 3,3V on power button still is present but no reaction when I push it. Any other idea?
Does the replacement EC chip have the same part number as the original KB9022Q D .Check your soldering again and look for solder bridges, and test all surrounding resistors and caps.
Ok, I checked everything around, found one lose connection which was just one of the grounds, so no change. Also BIOS flash didn't help. Maybe it's time to stop here, the whole thing is much too time consuming for probably no success. The old SIO actually blew up after a liquid damage, so who knows what else is faulty around.
Thanks a lot!

Give it another go.Desolder it and clean up all the white gunk under the chip. Some traces could be corroded under there around the via`s.
Anyway the bios and EC should help others so thanks for posting it.
