Ghamidi, It works but SSD is locked with Bilocker.


Update, I formated SSD and I did a new installation of OS, now it works fine.

Can be , but first verify programmer, connection between programmer and SPI flash if you use wire.

Lets Try this. Seem to have an md5 match on two reads. Is anyone able to remove the password for me. I've had to desolder this as the chip is too small to clip on the board.

Ok, so I have read and verified a few dumps and all seems to be working OK. I saved two separate dumps and checked MD5. They matched. The unlocked has a different MD5, this is expected, as the password has been removed? I now have an unlocked file.
Should i write straight to IC or use the unprotect erase write and verify option?

Its enough to erase-write and verify, it is not necessary to unprotect device.

hi everyone i am hoping someone can assist me? i have a hp elitebook 850 g1, i have attched a ch341a using the clip method and according to the ch341a it dumped a file from the winbond chip which is still soldered to the board which the size that was dumped is 2,048kb in size. i saved it as biosold.bin and dragged it into the hpunlocker which then created the biosold_unlocked.bin

i then flashed this back to the winbond chip and verified the file which matched but the administrator plus other user names in the bios still remains. what could i be doing wrong? and is there anyone who can help me out?
