Hi,

i wrote the original 32MB Bios back to the main chip, now the notebook turns on, but no screen and 4 beeps (2 deep, 2 high). Can someone help, I#m a bit lost atm

I got the board out, found a IC25LP128 chip on the back, i dumped the firmware, i hope its the right chip.

check your motherboard model too...the laptop still has a 16MB bios chip...post the content...check both sides of the board...

I'm sorry, I did search, but found nothing on the HP x360 830 G6, this thread is for the HP 830 G6 (no x360 in the name), so to dont mess this thread up, i started another one.... I dont know HP product naming very well, I'm not sure if both models are the same

Hello,

I have a HP x360 830 G6, where the BIOS pass is unknown. Its a 6XD41EA#ABD SN: 5CG0210FPN.
I got a POGO WSON8 stick, read the BIOS, split the file with HxD, ran the second half trough RCUnlocker, joined the files and wrote it back to the chip.
But something went wrong, when i start the machine the keyboard lights up like normal, but then the screen stays dark and the fan starts running at full.
I attach the original BIOS, maybe one of the pros can send me working file?
