Provide the full machine model number, serial number (or Service tag, SNID) and the board model number (see https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=88758 ) ,The serial number, make, full model number, motherboard model and revision (except QR codes) must be written/typed at your request as per the rules. Not as a picture, part of the file name and so on.
As a lot of older firmware images use the well known, incredibly secure AMI XOR key to encode the supervisor password in the firmware image, I wrote a small Python tool to automate the process of searching through the image and decrypting the key. It is far from perfect but works well enough for me to share.
The tool uses UEFIExtract to dump the entire image, naively search for a folder ending in "AMITSEDecrypt", iterate through the body.bin to find all possible hashes stored in there, decrypt them with the XOR key, remove every second byte, then convert to ASCII.
Usage: python3 AMITSEDecrypt <Path/to/image.bin>
Hope it'll be of use to someone and excuse my horrible Python skills.
Latest Bin, with serial number added please try and give feedback
Hello,
afudos is giving me error 46 so I tried using winflash from asus and it worked but it still wants the password :-(
I'm not sure that winflash can do the same thing as afu
Afuwin throws driver error
As soon as I solve the afu problems I will let you know anyway thanks for the help so far :-)

So by further experiments I found out that the CMOS memory is corrupted :-( sorry for your time. I will order another board on Aliexpress.
Hi, I am stuck on the part where I have to actually use this thing haha.
I have saved my bios dump file but when I run the command nothing happens. Running like this in powershell:
python3 .\AMITSEDecrypt.py C:\Users\user\Documents\afuwin.rom
Is there a way I could possibly send someone the file to assist me.
Thanks

Hello,
please help me unlock bios on this laptop
Modell:Epson Endeavor NA520E
BIOS:AMI BIOS/UEFI
BIOS Serial Number: 952006306
Motherboard:Epson 13M1
Secure boot:Enable
The key for the backdoor password is not displayed.
cmospwd failed because after running "ioperm.exe -i" I got the error "StartService function call failed".
I will not be able to access the boot options .
dual boot(Windows and Linux) is what BIOS password removal is for.
Booting from a USB flash drive will always boot into Windows, even if you select a different boot option.
Cmos-Deanimator and others also failed.
Resetting the cmos battery also failed.
afuwin3.rom(10.5MB) is from aptio v ami firmware update utility afuwin64
using htt********************** didn't help.(Result is output.txt(warning binary file) in biosdump.zip)
AMITSEdecrypt.py didn't give me the password.
afuwin3.rom.report.txt and afuwin3.rom.dump is Result of AMITSEDecrypt.py.
I apologize for my English I am not from English-speaking world and I am translating via google translate.
