Does anyone have a copy of Latitude 3510 boardview? Computer is dead, found a burned diode, had it replaced but the short near the battery connector area is still there. Injecting voltage, I let the current go up to 3.5Amp (I'm afraid to go higher) but I am unable to see what's heating up. If I had the boardview, that would help me tremendously.

try
1st boot, press F2, write service tag, disable Absolute, Apply Changes, restart. 2nd boot press Alt+F to exit manufacturing mode. Let it run for 2 mins, it will restart several times with no display.
