Help ,,
i have some experiment with 2 dell 5420 (gdf40 la-k491p rev 2.0), which one is demaged Bios and I don't have any backup for this laptop, and another one is good(before is bios lock) and now is already unlock. so i try with buying some ic bios(MX25L25633F) this is the model 3,3v and have 32MB storage, i already flashing with many file from this thread, and no one is working fine, like any colour in display, and stuck on logo. so i try experiment with another one, the ic another one with code (GD25Q256D) the working one, i flash bin file with this thread to this ic, and i soldering to demaged one, now the demaged one is working fine now.. so i've so many question, Is the problem with IC code? Is there a difference even though the storage and voltage are the same? should i buying another one chip (GD25Q256D) ? or any solution for this problem ?
thank you very much !!
the S/n demaged : 1V3LXD3
the S/n working one : 3CSLXD3

my thread before has typo (GD25Q256D), the correct is (GD25R256D)
***Update***
i ordered the same model of demaged bios before is (GD25RH256) i flash with bios bin from telegram, and now the laptop is working fine now.
so I assume this is a problem with the IC frequency or RPMC support? ihv no idea LOL
