hello everyone,
I have HP X Pro 612 g2, bios locked
Do you have a recommendation for a suitable chip reader and writer to unlock this device?
Also, is it possible to read the chip without removing it from the motherboard?

try RCUnlocker (see post #1), but before writing and reading, don't forget to make a backup copy of the bios... it would be better to remove the bios chip from the board before writing and reading, if you don't have anything to stick wires with between the programmer and the chip....don't use the clip, you might have errors...it's better to post the bios copy here after you extract it..

Hey mate, i used the software you provide, then create the unlocked file, flashed it back with tl866II

But the pw promt is still present, cant acces bios to reset values, machine PCB is a DA0X8MMB6D0 R: D

You should clear your another chip, it's 16mb EC.

I have 25q256jv bios Chip 8 pins 32mb
can not unlock it by using the RCunlocker
