Do you mean there are two bios chips on my PC? Coz I only see one chip beside the label 'bios' on the motherboard and two other 8 terminal chips on separate locations and they're a bit smaller in size, and I can't see their markings unless I use a magnifying glass. One is closer to the main chip that I backed up earlier and the other is closer to the CMOS battery.

I'm trying to unlock my bin file for HP ProBook 455 g5 by drag and drop on RCUnlocker but I get this message. Is there anything I'm not doing?

1- To fix the error you're seeing, you need to install the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable packages

2- Use the RCUnlocker on the EC chip located on the backside of the motherboard, near the battery connector

3- If you still can't somehoww get it working, then post the Serial Number and the EC chip backup I already pointed out

It turns out I was just missing a few things on my PC but now it has worked thanks to your guides, this platform has saved me!🙏

Hello everyone, I need help removing the BIOS password for an HP EliteBook 850 G8. Here are the hardware details: - Motherboard Model: 6050A3216701-MB-A01 - Chip Model: W25Q256JV (32MB, read as U367) - Serial Number (S/N):#8CG3311W2V I have attached the original 32MB dump read with my RT809H programmer. RCUnlocker did not accept it due to the 16MB file size limitation. Could someone please patch/unlock this file for me? Thank you in advance for your time and help!

Is it a problem with just one 16MB file or more. Have you tried RCUnlocker on another PC/Laptop

Yes I tried with different pc but now I realise an issue when I make backup file there a additional 1 byte file comes with 16,385 and when I download file comes with 16,384(which rc unlocker works well with this) I use xgecu programmer I tried to update to latest version but still comes with I additional 1 byte

Hi, The size of the compressed backup file is wrong (682.2KB)

> Pick Normal/Good/Best instead of "Store" which means no compression
