Re: Legion 5 15ARH05 bios
Ah thanks for that! I've managed to get the Serial number to show up in the BIOS.
Now the next problem, I don't seem to be able to access any Boot devices. I'm new to all this and I've been trying to find similar threads but no luck.
The laptop seems to take about 10 seconds from turning on to finally show the Legion logo and allow me to press F1 to enter the BIOS. Once in I can't get it to see the onboard hard drive or a USB drive with HirenComment

The problem is like this. I had problems with the EC, it was burned. I asked on the forum for a new EC bin and offered the original bios of the laptop. After I wrote the bin, the laptop started and displayed a message related to the charger, but the problem was that the laptop would not start unless I reset the bios. I saved the existing bios and put another one, and the laptop did not display an image. I put the last saved bios back but I still have no image.Attached FilesPremium supporters get full download access and other benefits.

It is ok. Thanks. I don t have the original charger and the battery. If i want to start the laptop only with my power supply, the laptop not started. I must disconnect the bios battery, reset the bios and then the laptop starts. I have o battery from another lenovo laptop but it have 11.5v and my laptop need 16v. But if i put this battery, the laptop start when I press the power button and don’t need to reset the bios. I tried putting a 1.8k resistor between the ID pin and ground, but the laptop still won't turn on and doesn't recognize the charger.

hi. i am a noob about these(i don't know which sector should i post).
i screw up the config by using umaf tool and make the laptop brick.
by reading this topic,is it that mean flash the bios without system must throgh by programmer?(like ch341a or sth)
i search the web it told it could flash by using usb drive & hold the fn+r to flash it.
however download the "encuxxww.exe" from offical website can't extract the raw bios.bin file(it just a file name "[0]" and the filesize not match these replypost attach file is 7MB),and i also don't know which bin name should i rename.
in my situation, can i get the origin bin file and flash by usb?
by the way here my model info

current bios version: eucn39ww

do not use the clip, you may have errors..if you do not have anything to unsolder it with,
solder wires between the programmer and the bios chip..
you need an SPI programmer...here is a video for example..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWWi...nnel=ThisIsHowDue to a lack of donations, server free space at a critical level, and possible closure of Bios Requests all donations are welcome, click:

by gestalt.exeHi everyone,
My Lenovo Legion Y540 (i7-9750H, RTX 2060) bricked after I downgraded from BHCN44WW to BHCN21WW.
Laptop stopped booting entirely.
I used a CH341A programmer to dump the corrupted 16MB BIOS.
i then attempted the following:- Downloaded stock BIOS BHCN39WW from Lenovo
- Trimmed it to 16MB
- Extracted the BIOS region from the corrupted dump
- Extracted the BIOS region from the stock 39WW
- Replaced the corrupted BIOS region with the stock one (within hxd , opened the corrupted dump and replaced its region by the stock)
- Injected back my LDGB / DMI

by voodoopHi !
I tried to enter BIOS and it hangs (it shows a line on upper left corner) . When I push the BIOS button on the right side , I get a menu where I can select between normal startup , bios setup , boot menu and system recovery .
I choose bios setup and it hangs (the same if I push F2) .
What to verify ?
Thanks !07-21-2025, 08:45 AM -

by macabookHello everyone,
I’m currently working on a dead MSI GP75 Leopard (MS-17E71) motherboard (i7 CPU, NVIDIA GPU) with a no display/no backlight issue initially. After extensive investigation, I’m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Here’s a full breakdown:
🧩 Initial Issue- Board powers on (fans spin, keyboard lights up and can be adjusted, caps lock led lights), but no display or backlight
- External display (HDMI) shows
