at the end of the string there is 01. Do not change it to 00. Otherwise Panasonic logo at boot will go away.

I forgot to zero fill the first one at 0xA80328 .I used the bios from post #16 ,copied the DMI and GBE region and cleaned the ME FW .I don`t think the other occurrence at 0xADAD8E would make any difference after setting bios defaults .

as SMDflea indicates, just remove a 0xA80328 for "smdflea file" or 0xA802EE for your original + AMITSEtup, it should work normally

yes but written many times in several ways and I don't know if any checksum to verify.

My original patched file is working fine?

So better to start from an original file and modify it my way if you have other pc to do. You keep the original file like that

So better to start from an original file and modify it my way if you have other pc to do. You keep the original file like that

Hello. I am asking you for a hint on how to solve the problem with my touchbook Panasonic CF53-2 standart model. After setting up the BIOS, the laptop displays the wrong image until Windows loads. (More precisely, it displays, but distorted, instead of the Panasonic image immediately after turning it on, it displays what is in photo #1 in the attached file) Then the image appears when Windows starts loading and then there are no problems with the screen until the reboot. I have tried to remove BIOS supervisor password from Panasonic Toughbook CF-33 mk1. Model number CF-33AENABTG, unfortunately I don't have any other info.

I read the BIOS using afuwin, edited it and tried to flash new edited BIOS using afuwin. Unsuccessfully. Afuwin showed "Error: Problem erasing flash." starting with 0x00040000 and stoped. Then I tried many other options to flash BIOS from Windows without any luck. Finally i rebooted the device - and no post. Afterwards I have read the corrupted bios chip (MX25L12873F) using EZP2010 programmer....

I usually try to figure these things out on my own but am asking for help now as I have been beating my head against a wall.

Backstory, I initially ended up with a CF20 Mk2 with a locked BIOS.
