The bios has clean ME firmware and a new bios region from the available download section. Maybe it will work if you flash the EC as well. If you enter your serial number at Getac support there is a warning message about it having a custom bios, and to contact them for it.

Hello dear Sirs and Madams,
I have here a Getac V110, presumably a G2.
About a year ago, i set a pretty secure BIOS-Password, which i definitively cant remember.
As i understand, the bios pwd is plaintext in the bios backup, but i couldnt find it.
It would be great if someone could help me here, so i can install linux again.
regards
Holger

by GrafZahlHi!
I am in desperate need for a Bios dump from an Getac V110 G5.
It needs to be from a stock V110 G5, not a Bosch DCU220 (that also is labeld V110 on the bottom).
If it is password locked, that is no problem.
Thank you in advance!...-

by macabookHello everyone,
I’m currently working on a dead MSI GP75 Leopard (MS-17E71) motherboard (i7 CPU, NVIDIA GPU) with a no display/no backlight issue initially. After extensive investigation, I’m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Here’s a full breakdown:
🧩 Initial Issue- Board powers on (fans spin, keyboard lights up and can be adjusted, caps lock led lights), but no display or backlight
- External display (HDMI) shows

by DynaxSCHi, I have an MSI PRO B660M-G DDR4 board with damaged BIOS and i need a bios dump from a real board, along with MAC, UUID and Serial Number info (eg. a BIOS screenshot and pictures from the board stickers).
I need to reconstruct the bios on my board, based on another bios image form a real board - meaning a bios image containing MAC address, UUID and Serial number. A stock BIOS is not suffiecient, as it is impossible to discover where the MAC, UUID and SerialNumber are stored. Tried with a similar board, but there are too much differences, and the stock BIOS is missing a lot of...11-17-2023, 10:56 AM -
