I have a Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 (G533QM) that had a dead motherboard (Graphics card dead) and after trying to fix the motherboard with no success, I bit the bullet on a sale for a new motherboard. I ordered a motherboard for the 15 inch model which is the one that I have, and when the motherboard arrived it wasn't for a little while that I saw it was from the 17 inch model.
My question is, can I update the Bios on this G733 motherboard to a G533 Bios.
The reason for wanting to do this is that the keyboard isn't working as it should, and I think this... -

I have been lurking these forums for a while trying to figure out how to get into this motherboard's bios. Hopefully to repurpose it as a general workstation. Unfortunately my bios chip reader is still in the mail, but i have managed to get windows 7 running on it and was able to make a backup of the bios.
Strangely it shows in CPU-Z as a EMBM315B02.
From what i can tell its a rebranded Zotac H87ITX-A-E missing wifi pigtails, and missing usb 3.0 internal header. I was half tempted to just order on ebay the bios... -
Hi, I have an MSI PRO B660M-G DDR4 board with damaged BIOS and i need a bios dump from a real board, along with MAC, UUID and Serial Number info (eg. a BIOS screenshot and pictures from the board stickers).
I need to reconstruct the bios on my board, based on another bios image form a real board - meaning a bios image containing MAC address, UUID and Serial number. A stock BIOS is not suffiecient, as it is impossible to discover where the MAC, UUID and SerialNumber are stored. I have a Clevo W253EU laptop that the screen does not open and the fan starts at maximum speed I think it is a problem in the bios and for that I need the bin file to reprogram it. I know the website https://repo.palkeo.com/clevo-mirror/W2xxEU/ and I have downloaded the appropriate bios update but it is not in bin format And it is in 6mb (W240EU.03) which does not fit in this case what can i do ?
