then reprog only the 8mb chip with this file, you will can store your service tag.

have dell g3 laptop with bios problem having no display.have tried bios from this site display comes but cant save service tag and fan runs at full speed.
i have attached my corrupt bios please anyone make my bios working.

Hello guys. My laptop service tag is C21503F, and it started showing Windows Blue Screen Of Death and when restarting always show : "bios on manufacturing mode" "no service tag has found" "no tpm". I'm not sure how to proceed. Every change in bios is not saved. using bios 1.24 from dell webpageComment

Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.
Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,... -
Hi, I hope some one has some advice for me. I searched the forums but didn't see anything relevant. I acquired two identical Dell 9010 Mid Tower computers from a business office upgrade (they were going to throw them out). Both of them have the same motherboard (00F82W). One of them works flawlessly. The other one had a corrupted BIOS. I tried flashing numerous main BIOS and EC files from the internet, but none of them worked. Hi there masters, recently i got a dell 5400 chromebook and wanted to install windows, i searched the internet and i found out other people also wanting a UEFI bios for this model, i searched there is a R/W legacy, but there are bugs like keyboard/trackpad not working, and hard to install.
so i decided to try to port one, this bios is based on dell 5400 windows version, i am testing this bios for a week now an found only a little to no bug at all in windows 10, or only a minor issue
in windows 11 sound driver compatibility, but overall its ok, for me i can deal with it, 😅😅😅... -

Hi folks,
I got a Dell Optiplex 7010 micro PC (Exact Model) with 8FC8 BIOS and locked out admin password. I attempted to remove the password by patching the BIOS via info from this thread: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...ssword-patcher
After flashing the patched the BIOS, the PC is unresponsive with a solid AMBER power LED (not documented in manual anywhere)
