yes..before that, transfer the DMI information from your bios to the virgin one..
the bios from post # 3 is virgin, use the HxD program (it's free on the internet), enter both bios into the program (your laptop and the virgin one),
select that interval mentioned in both bios, copy the interval in your bios and pass it to the virgin bios (copy - paste)....and that's it...If you have found our forum useful please consider supporting us. Try downgrading the BIOS, enable "BIOS back flash" setting first
Download and run under Windows, it's previous version L7CN24WW

This is not the original BIOS as the S/N is different R910NDFD, it's exactly the same as the one from here, post 50: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...29#post3806629
If you have the original backup from your laptop, you can transfer your DMI and Win key with hex editor

I've dumped the BIOS and it seems to be 32MB but the new download for fresh BIOS is about 24MB. Not sure if I somehow dumped the wrong chip, but it's labeled BIOS on the board. The CH341 programmer did say there were 2 chips and I dumped both and both were 32MB.Comment

recently my power supply for this laptop developed a fault.
which caused a short in my usb c port -- verified with a new charger.
rant: so, i went to the repair tech in my country, he asked for a huge repair cost when i decided to get it done someplace else this "great person" nicked my bios chip, asked me to be aware for repair scams lol.

I am attempting to remove the WWAN card whitelist from my Lenovo ThinkPad T560.
Initial Findings:- My current BIOS version is N1KET58W (1.45).
- I have a CH341A programmer and have successfully created two full backups of my BIOS.
- I have the ability to use command-line tools on a Linux machine.
- I attempted to use several automated and manual patching methods on my N1KET58W (1.45) BIOS, including using hex strings. These attempts all failed.

I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
So I thought it was a Bios problem.
I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V.... -

My Lenovo Legion Y540 (i7-9750H, RTX 2060) bricked after I downgraded from BHCN44WW to BHCN21WW.
Laptop stopped booting entirely.
I used a CH341A programmer to dump the corrupted 16MB BIOS.
i then attempted the following:- Downloaded stock BIOS BHCN39WW from Lenovo
- Trimmed it to 16MB
- Extracted the BIOS region from the corrupted dump
- Extracted the BIOS region from the stock 39WW
- Replaced the corrupted BIOS region with the stock one (within hxd , opened the corrupted dump and replaced its region by the stock)
- Injected back my LDGB / DMI

I am attempting a repair on a Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e that is currently stuck at boot with the error: "0275 error CMS" even after setup new bios battery and will not allow me to enter the BIOS/Setup.
This is a critical issue that I believe requires flashing the BIOS chip directly using a programmer (e.g., CH341A/RT809H), as standard software updates or resets are not possible.
I have opened the laptop and identified the main BIOS chip...
