Okay so I failed at the first hurdle it seems as the laptop switched itself off so the codes have reset. Power seems to be working fine and the battery takes charge so thinking it may have been a one off.

Hello again,

So below you will find a link that actually runs down a Toshiba hack. If you pay attention you will find the researches actually found that the admin bios password is stored in the eeprom bios. If the location is known theoretically it is possible to fish out the bios password and use it to access the bios....that is if I understood this correctly.

Re Z30-c the Challenge code needs to e decrypt. it is the same as the older way which is 5 characters over 5 sets, it just needs to be decrypted & finding the correct decryption.

in my case it was (see below) but laptop is off now so need to post a new one, but first finding decryption correct method. Anyone has an idea?
