Hello guys. Just trying to update the Bios using usb, fn+Esc but unfortunately it is not working.. I managed to get a fd file but unfortunately i couldn't find a specific fd file name in folder which is needed to be edited.. I appreciate any help. Thank you 👍

no,its not good.The ec is copied from the bios to a new file (20,000 is 128KB)

You mean the EC is inside the main BIOS chip? Or is there a separate chip?

The laptop's behavior has changed.

Before the BIOS update, the keyboard would light up, and after a while, the laptop would restart with no display.
Now, when I connect the charger, a steady orange LED appears on the side. However, when I press the power button, the LED begins to blink slowly, flashing three times before shutting off, and nothing else happens. The keyboard remains dark.

Could this be due to a low battery? I woke up early this morning to test it and provide you with prompt feedback, so I didn't have time to wait for a full battery charge—apologies for that.

Should we try a different BIOS version? Do you have any suggestions on how to modify it?

Would it make sense to try a stock BIOS (without any reference to a service tag) as suggested in this post?
