Hi,

I am trying to patch L380 type 20M6, I have ran autopatcher, and flashed patched bios, but I get a musical set of beeps and a black screen. I think this is a checksum error? Any advice on how I can resolve this?

Reflashing the original bios back also gives the musical notes and a black screen, I guess I may have destroyed this one :-(

Please ignore my posts! I have tried again, doing a full erase and verify between each flash, and it has worked, thankyou !!

Pardon my noobness if this is obvious.

I have "successfully" followed steps 1-7.
I am now on Step 8 but I am a little confused

"STEP 8: Restore original BIOS"

Does this mean I should flash my original BIOS file that was used to create the patch BIOS to remove the password?
I was thinking it meant a BIOS reset but that is what step 9 is.
If anyone can provide some clarity for me that would be great.

The unit is a Thinkpad X1 Yoga gen 2.

Found the answer in post #156, where it clearly stated to write back the original BIOS.

I have a small problem, running on win 11 autopatch works, makes a patch but does not save it, I see that it is created in the directory, but as if windows were deleting it antivirus turned off
