Hello, I just tried to patch the attached bios dump for my x380 yoga using the autopatcher but it is giving me this error:

    [1/2] BootOption (GUID e0746c42-d3f9-4f8b-b211-1410957b9ff5)
afterflash1.bin is corrupted or does not contain a valid dump.
    There was an error... Aborting.

However, when I flash the same dump onto the laptop it boots without issue (aside form the SVP still being active)
    checksum is correct also
any idea on what I should do?
    thinkpad model : x380

Any ideas? If I plug an external keyboard everything works fine, so does the screen keyboard, but the laptop keyboard is dead. Did I forget something when recopying my original Bios ? Please help and many thanks!
Just thought I would update so that anyone in this same situation can benefit from it. It turns out that coincidental with the password removal, my keyboard died of a lonely death. Changed the keyboard and everything is back to normal!

          Hello !
I followed the instructions, on an X270 motherboard (I work on the board alone so no battery or battery bios), the patch worked well no error and generate the file "patched".
I did hold the anti-tamper switch down the whole time, but when the reboot finished I stayed on the "Lenovo" logo to press enter and nothing happened...
          I haven't done a clean ME.
          Any ideas?

I'm attaching both but I'd especially like to understand why it's blocking, thanks in advance and thanks Knucklegrumble.

          Edit : board : DX270 NM-B061 Rev1.0 Serial number PN : 4511230120B

Gentlemen, I come here to report a problem that is happening! I've been trying to remove the computrace from a thinkpad E490 model 20N9 for 2 days. I've tried autopatcher 01 and 02 dozens of times, it does the patch, but when I flash it the machine beeps on 01 or no image appears after pressing f1 on 02! I've already flashed the EC and it doesn't work! Computrace won't go away for nothing! I put a password in the bios, I made the patch in the EC file, I flashed the machine and it remains with computrace activated! Help me please!!!

          Thinkpad E490
          Model 20N9
          SN: PE05GBC6
          UEFI Bios Version: 1.29

The attachment contains the original dump and the EC file extracted from the machine via SAS.

I managed to find a clean Ec+Dump file, with great effort, I ran it through the machine and removed this damn function. I'll leave them here in case anyone else needs them, but I make it clear that all the ECs of this model that are on the forum are the incorrect size of 128kb, the correct size is 256kb, just like the one I post here.

Therefore I am not able to patch my dump which contains Supervisor Password myself. I kindly ask for your assistance.

Markus1741 thanks a lot for your help again. With your patched image and following the guide on the front page, the Supervisor Password got removed and I have a revived T480s. Thanks again.

I have tried a clean ME of the original bios before patching and still stuck on the LENOVO logo.

Alors avec celui ci j'ai les mêmes choses que le bios original.
                            Bloqué à l'étape 5 :
[ HOW TO USE THE PATCH ]
STEP 1: Flash and replace current BIOS with the generated patch file
                            STEP 2: Boot the machine
STEP 3: Press ENTER/F1/etc. to enter BIOS settings
STEP 4: Enter any character when asked for Supervisor Password
STEP 5: Press enter when it shows Hardware ID
STEP 6: Press space bar 2x when asked
                            STEP 7: Turn off machine
                            STEP 8: Restore original BIOS
STEP 9: Reset BIOS settings to factory default

After entering 3 random passwords in step 4, I don't have the ID and the PC reboots, nothing better.

Edit : I have the impression that it's the original bios, you wouldn't be mistaken?

Just so you know, I understood the problem of getting stuck on the LENOVO logo, I tried it on another Lenovo that got stuck (X1 Carbon) and I had the same problem, in fact you just need to spam Enter & F1 to get to the step before the logo if that helps!
                              And I unblocked both!
                              Thx for the forum

Can someone please confirm if T480s and/or T490s can be unlocked with Autopatcher OR if the password is in EC now and need SVOD tool?

Please respond ONLY if you have tried and know for sure.

                                  Thank you!
