Yes, opening the html file is enough. It depends on the deriv.js file, so you need to copy both to have a "standalone" unlocker. It is possible to store everything in the html file, I can do that if it helps.

hi I don't know you are still active, I have the following problem, my acer aspire 3 A315-21g notebook has gone into a password lock and I am not in any way able to unlock it.

Did you try typing the unlock key e93608a6dbeb8b73 with an external keyboard?
A few people have reported issues unlocking with the builtin keyboard. I recommend to try again with an external USB one.

My given unlock code is af37ef70753648a1 but the BIOS input box on my Spin 3 only takes 10 characters. What can I do, please?

Did you try typing the full code? I suspect that the limitation is just visual, internally the full code will be taken into account.
(Also if it doesn't work, don't forget to also try with an external keyboard)
