Can someone take out the password on this dell please? Its the new suffix I can't remove generate a code for it.
Anyway you can tell me how its done too? I tried replacing ME region with locked one and it stopped booting up. This is the original bios that I posted.

Re: Dell Latitude 7400 Bios Password
Yes and no, the notebook is not within the original factory parameters. With the file that was made available to you, on the first boot did the laptop show any message on the screen?Comment

Re: Dell Latitude 7400 Bios Password
Yes it showed manufacture mode on. I changed the service tag to a random one and exited manufacture mode.Comment

Re: Dell Latitude 7400 Bios Password
Why did you use a random service tag? Dell Service Tag is not like other manufacturers' Asset Tag, it is tied to various system parameters.
If you want to redo the process correctly:
Restart the laptop with the original BIOS file and let me know.Last edited by onizzbox; 03-17-2022, 04:46 PM.Comment

by jhanraHi there masters, recently i got a dell 5400 chromebook and wanted to install windows, i searched the internet and i found out other people also wanting a UEFI bios for this model, i searched there is a R/W legacy, but there are bugs like keyboard/trackpad not working, and hard to install.
so i decided to try to port one, this bios is based on dell 5400 windows version, i am testing this bios for a week now an found only a little to no bug at all in windows 10, or only a minor issue
in windows 11 sound driver compatibility, but overall its ok, for me i can deal with it, 😅😅😅...-

by anlsmithI am trying to remove the BIOS password for a Dell Latitude 5430 motherboard LA-L591P. So far I think that I have located the BIOS chip but NeoProgrammer says that is detects 3 chips. I have attached the dump from each one. Are any of these the BIOS file? Service Tag: 1DMC1T3. If nyone knows the exact location of the bios chip as well I would greatly appreciate it...

by TripTopHi
i have dell latitude E7270 with following symptoms:
- takes long time to restart.
- sometimes powers on and then off
- sometimes while working it just dies,
From googling online bios clean could possible resolve this?
i was able to save bios and was going to try bios clean myself but get an below error when i drop it in ME analyzer.(unsure whether this sometimes occurs or could be due to bad/corrupt bios)
As ME analyzer gave me an error i just decided to write bios with a cleaned bios from E7270 bios post.
I reinstall...-

by iwuHello,
I am not experienced in electronics, but I really want to check if my idea is possible.
I have motherboard replaced from Dell Latitude 5520 (11th gen on i5 CPU).
BIOS/UEFI access on that MB/PC is blocked by password which I want to get it know - even if I need some bruteforcing or stupid manual activities.
There was no computrace activated.
I was happy when I saw many posts about removing BIOS password based on .bin file dummps. I wanted to go little further - get to know the password from the dump.
