Unlock BIOS password Acer Nitro 5 AN-515 51

Hello to all you guys!

Im in need for your help, i've seen almost all over internet and haven't got the right method yet

I need to unlock my BIOS password on my Laptop Acer Nitro5 AN-515 51

I tried with bios-pw.org but didn't work, also with clnpw, and i dont want to upgrade it, ive read that the pass will still being the same. And as being a new model, cmos battery wont work either.

The 10 digits key after entering the wrong pass for the 3rd time is: 1294271415

After that bios-pw gave me this: 37ov7x3c3q

but didnt work....


just saw on other thread that another user post the same laptop and the guys helped him with the right unlock code.

It might not help you but on some laptops password is cleared when you short pin 1 and pin 2 on eeprom when powering on the laptop. Laptop might freeze after that. Let it be like that for a short while and then reboot. Might need to remove battery + rtc battery before.

I have done it on some models as a last resort and it has been helpful on more than a few times. Not even sure why it works tho..

First time doing this, attached the backup (rar) and an the software image that i did it with.

Your bios is either corrupt or backup is not proper. Aways take backup with spi programmer, this bios backup tool usually doesnt backs up bios properly. Try the bios attached. this is acer virgin bios extracted from acer update. Give feed back. You will loose dmi info.

We can only help you if you post your bios backup.
You can buy a cheap bios programmer to backup your bios and then post it here, or buy an unlock key on ebay,you have buyer protection on ebay.
