I think lot of the files for KBC programmable spread on many threads, mostly by request. That's why i advice you to upload here as pioner. To avoid bad perception you are as only leech.

Also sometime the EC dump for several brand laptop merge on BIOS dump. So, seem not urgent especially for me to made backup.

For me best idea is collection all link on badcaps.net in single excel file or spreadsheets that contain trusted link. For doing this job need lot efforts and times then handle by few sub-admin. (3-5 persons)

BTW, your idea is one of the best.

KBC dump can be made from main bios in most of the cases. So i hardly make any backup for kbc dump and always cut it from main bios as and when needed.

MEC1416 i'm not sure but MEC1404 is not needed to program. The kbc must be blank and it will auto program itself from main. Have tested it on many occassions.

that what I was thinking MEC1416 and MEC1404 are self programmed by main bios but some of the users are posting MEC1416 frimware. I suspect they are extracting for main bios. thanks for the information.
