Hello everyone,
I need help removing EFI firmware lock from a MacBook Pro A1502.
Board number:820-3476-A
BIOS chip:Macronix MX25L6406E (8MB)
Issue:The MacBook shows EFI firmware password lock before booting macOS or recovery.
What I already did:
Read full 8MB dump successfully using Revelprog IS
Saved original backup
Device still fully working
I attached:
Original BIOS dump
Board photo
BIOS chip photo
Could someone please help patch/unlock the dump while keeping serial number and board data intact?

post the original contents of the bios chip..
post S/N, full name and model, motherboard model,EMC,,etc.

Hi friends., I am working on MacBook Pro A2159 touchbar 2019. The old logic board was liquid spilled so I ordered another logic board from AE. Received it & all worked fine till I got to the Chinese login screen where the login screen password tobe entered. I tried to reset the password but it again gave me options which I do not know about the Apple ID. I formatted the onboard SSD. & wanted to change the startup boot sequence but in order to change it, again the password is needed for that too. Is there a way to get rid of this password?? I have a MacBook Air 13 inches 2014.
I have set a EFI password and I can't remember it : now I want to reinstall macOS and I can't because the MacBook is asking for the password.
I know how to remove the password with a usb programmer.
I plug the usb programmer to the motherboard and to my pc with usb, I read the EFI and I save it to a file.
Then I have to find this value in the file : $SVS because it indicate where is the password.
But I can't find the value.
