On the mainboard is also gl702vmk on the notebook but GL702VM

I'm sorry, I have no idea what it can be.
i think you have a 7th gen cpu if its marked VMK on the mainboard, and theres 2 different bios for 6th and 7th gen .Can you post the part number on the CPU.

Unfortunately, it sounds like people are mixing them up.

The GL702VM with 6th gen. Skylake cpu is using the 'GL702VM' model bios files
The GL702VM (7th gen. Kaby Lake cpu) is using the 'GL702VMK' model bios files and internally at ASUS is known as the GL702VMK although we advertise it to customers as the GL702VM (7th Gen. cpu) model"

I flashed the outimage and it brought by bricked GL702VM laptop back to life. Thank you so much for sharing these files. The only issue right now is that I keep getting the BIOS password prompt when booting laptop. Is there a way to fix this?

                        BIOS dump for GL702VM-DB71 laptop

                        Hi Badcaps.net forum members,

Does anyone have a good BIOS dump for Asus GL702VM-DB71 laptop with BIOS version 306?

This would go unto Windbond 25Q64EVSIQ chip on the board. I will be using CH341a to reprogram the chip. I will PM the serial of the laptop if needed.

Hello, I too encountered this problem with an Asus G702VM-GC092T which has a corrupt BIOS -> no display, no access to the bios. I am looking for a Dump/Bios in version 305 or 306 to reflash it with the programmer ch341A.
                            In advance, many thanks.

Did you keep a copy of the dump to possibly test it on my bricked GL702VM too?

                                  Thanks in advance.
