can i use this bios for Asus X550V ?
MB: Asus X550CC Rev: 2.0
EC: ITE IT8517E HXA

issue, laptop shutting down every 30 min what ever is on screen, even when is only in bios

ive tried this version Asus X550VC REV. 3.0 and works fine. bios version is shown like 213.

bios is ok, laptop is on more than 2 hours. only thing had problem was touch pad, it freezes often, with mouse work fine. i uninstalled asus smart gesture software and now touch pad is ok. before i had windows 8.1 and never had this problem with touch pad, now i installed windows 10 and problem came up, can be this related with windows 10 not with bios update?

actually i still have the problem. just figured that touchpad stop working when i press button 1, and doesn't work until i pres button 2 or touchpad :O

it was bad touchpad flat cable
