I use CH341A programmer. But for 1.8v chips you will need to get an adapter. -

You can consider Rt809F which is very cheap and efficient as well. For 1.8v chip you need to use adapter. It can program Ene kbc also.Comment

I own both TL866CS and RT809F, RT809F will be your best bet,
Tl866CS is good but very slow at programming.
RT809F will be there for programming most KBC chips such as ITE8586E and KB9012~22 series but you will need an adapter which is not very expensive. And another adapter for 1.8V chips.Last edited by tomodachi; 06-05-2018, 07:21 AM.Comment

RT809H ,you`ll need kbc adapters, its also a bios programmer.
Vertyanov programmer , the original kbc programmer. Only for kbc, and edid

Hello guys, I found this website about programming kb9012 with ch341A programmer. Somebody tried or is it even possible? I need flash kb only once in my life so it is useless to spend money for rt809F

These ask for a password when entering the BIOS, but boot just fine from the internal SSD.

My pc updated bios through Windows Update and I was greeted with BLACK SCREEN WITH CPU FAN MAX SPEED. I don't think there is even a screen signal, because it triggers my monitor for a couple seconds and then the monitor turns off. I tried the other outputs as well.- I tried clearing bios, resetting bios, removed the CMOS battery, removed m.2 ssd, wifi, and ram. Still black screen with CPU fan blasting.
- I tried using the Lenovo BIOS CD and BIOS USB, but neither worked. At least I couldn't get anything to work.
- I could only locate two chips that look like bios chips. Could someone verify this

After extensive investigation, I’m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Here’s a full breakdown:
