    acer 7520g no boot after bios post

    acer aspire 7520g:
    (I don't know well amd system)
    I can enter to bios, modify boot option, etc but after bios post , the system remain with cursor blink and no boot even with a usb boot pen or cd rom.
    I reprogram the bios
    and removed all unnecessary peripherals but the issue persist.

      A full bios post show:
      RESOURCE CONFLICT - pci serial bus controller in slot 01
      bus: 01, device: 04, function: 01
      etc
      The problem cames from this chip Ricoh R5C833
      I try to disable it

          after I removed that chip, the system behaviour is correct , I have not time to replace it but i think the culprit is NVIDIA MCP67 a common issue on these boards.

              This motherboard has 2 similar chips. One is on the front marked with BIOS SKT "Winbond 25Q256JVEN" and one on the back marked with U351 "Gigadevice 25B256EYIG". I ignored the one on the back and only desoldered front chip. Made a backup, made sure the reading was the same with another 3 backups.

              I needed to remove bios password...

              Hi, I have a few of these & they came with a custom bios boot logo, no passwords etc.

              2 x were brand new unused but with custom boot logo, 1 I installed Windows/ran updates then it bricked itself. 1 wouldn't get past the custom bios boot logo.

              The third I loaded windows, took a backup of the bios chip, then tried to flash several different clean bios's via programmer which all caused it to not boot. I tried to reflash the original bios both using clip & desoldering but...

              Hi,

              I am trying to fix an Acer Aspire 5542. Upon turning it on, the fan starts to spin for a few seconds and then it stops. I hear no beeps from the speaker. I have no image both on the laptop screen and through VGA and HDMI connectors.

              I measured voltages, and it seems all power supplies are OK. There are 5V, 3.3V (BIOS), 1.8V (RAM), and 1.1V (VCORE).
