Thanks for the response before os is windows 8 the problem with this laptop before bios also corrupted so i reprogram with new one i got on the hp site si netbook worka fine then i reformat to windows 10 wrks fine also after 4months customer came back tje same problem so i reprogram bios again cannot program so i chnange the bios chip now this is the problem works fine when charger only buy after shutting down cannot turn on again i need to rest for 10 mins to use it again

Try ala_borbe bios see if that works.


When you rest the computer do you unplug charger from wall? Is there a way you can charge the battery and then try it in computer? Also, is the RTC working?

i already tried alaborbe bios still the same issue after shutsdown cannot turn again lights blinking i need clean me region for this i already upload the bios

So lets stick on one problem at a time. Lets deal with the power issue.


When you rest the computer do you unplug charger from wall? Is there a way you can charge the battery and then try it in computer? Also, is the RTC working?

When you boot up can you get into the bios screen?

when shut it down i unplugged the charger but when i plugged back in again lights are blinking cannot turn it on i need to rest first for a about 10-20minutes after that when i plug in again the lights are not blinking now and i can turn on and boots fine even hours of using,RTC BATTERY is working shows 3v

Here is one more thing to try. After you shut the unit down disconnect charger and then press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Then plug charger back in and see it is will boot up.


It is as if a cap is charged up and it needs to discharge in order for the unit to boot up.

On the bios screen in UEFI there is a setting called silent mode. If this is selected the USB port will be turned off during boot.

update: i reflashed again with ala borbe bios and then change the laptop battery with my spare good one and make it full charge i can boot now with battery but when charger plugged in still blinking need to rest first to work again and also there is no option on the bios for usb usb keyboard and mouse works fine but flshdrive cannot read it

once again, your file is empty
it is 2 mb but no data in it all 0xff ff ff ff, hence useless

try this, this is lower version bios for that model, maybe ec and bios are not comunicating as it should

write this file, turn on laptop the update from windows to new version (sometimes ec get updated also)

you must using another ec-chip- bios and flashing anf be sure that all your 8 pin is fixed good .
if not working i need a diagram schematic for your mother of laptop for i can help you

When are you trying to read flash drive on power up or after it is in OS?

@keeney i used original ho charger and voltage is good cannot read flash in os blinking but not reading it freezes the same also in boot up cannot continue to boot in os if flashdrive is inserted but usb mouse and keyboard works with no problem

Have you been able to get into the bios screen? Can you post your bios screen setting.
