remove the internal battery for any operation in the laptop, so as not to accidentally make any short, you can also remove the bios battery ... post only the contents of the 25Q128FV chip ... do not change any voltage of the programmer ..you have here a program with which others users managed to read the bios chip, if it doesn't work with the one that comes with the programmer..look for a video on the net about how to use the programmer..read the bios chip, make a backup and post ..

here's the dump. It should have worked (LED on EEPromer lit up, etc.). If you think the dump is defective let me know.

the size is good, but the copy is almost empty..use the HxD program, download here another Zbook 15-G3 bios and with the HxD program see what the bios should look like, and compare with the copy posted by you..make more downloads and comparisons in HxD when you have two equally posted ...

Hi,
After 3-4 attempts and reading out BIOS versions, I thought I'd see if the notebook was still running.

I connected the battery and the CMOS battery and put the bottom back on.

The notebook booted and landed with 1-2 messages in the BIOS (WITHOUT PASSWORD REQUEST !!).

I removed all passwords and also did a BIOS downgrade and later upgraded again. The notebook works so far.

However, the 3rd party BIOS from Intel has somehow been affected.

I get the following messages before starting Windows 10:

1.) (a7) me fw downgrade - request mespilock failed

2.) error sending end of post message to me heci disabled proceeding with boot

I also cannot install the official Intel Management Engine Driver ("Error: Platform is not supported").

BIOS downgrade and upgrade run without errors.

If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.
