Re: HP elitebook 8570p dump
So what are you going to do about it? I dont see a bios dump file anywhere.Comment

Re: HP elitebook 8570p dump
Will you please modify Maziff's HP Elitebook bios unlocker tool for more recent models such as HP Elitebook 8570p and so on? As you see, a smart tool can also unlock or bypass bios password too without the hassle of unsoldering the bios chip out of the mainboard...Comment

Re: HP elitebook 8570p dump
Mazzifs tool CAN unlock elitebooks but to a certain age. After that security has gotten just a bit tougher so NO, you won't get that level of comfort. If unsoldering/using a clip is such a hassle, find somebody who doesn't think so and pay him. If you need to unlock only one machine, this will be a cheaper option anyway.Comment

Re: Elitebook 8570p with a locked bios
You have written 11 posts about the same issue. Why don't you do what we have told you?
You will not get SMC.bin file from anywhere. You need to read your bios IC, modify the file and then write it to bios IC.Comment

Let me make myself clear: I don't troll anybody! Stop answering my comments if you are unable to help or offer any tips or piece of advice. I have ignored and even tolerated your annoying and disturbing comments so far. I have had enough of YOU. Also, this topic is about HP EliteBook Bios Dump file. And I'm asking forum experts' opinion about my using İmran's bios dump on my own bios. Wherever I write something you pop up there.Last edited by paratoner; 04-14-2020, 12:15 AM.Comment

Because I have told you what you have to do and you just keep spamming about the same issue.
Buy a programmer.
Attach bios chip to programmer.
Read bios.
Upload it here so somebody can modify it you just modify yourself.
Write bios.
Done.
There is no reason to use file from somebody else if you have a working bios which just has a password. You still need a programmer either way. Reading your own file is something which eliminates many possible issues.
Those issues could be wrong DMI, slow boot, no boot, error messages or maybe something else. Reading your own, modifying and writing that will just remove the password and causes no such issues.Last edited by RethoricalCheese; 04-14-2020, 02:01 AM.Comment

by Habble7The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.
Suspected Cause:
I suspect the BIOS may have been corrupted during a power interruption while updating the firmware. The official website provides firmware updates, but they can only be installed via USB flash drive.

by DynaxSCHi, I have an MSI PRO B660M-G DDR4 board with damaged BIOS and i need a bios dump from a real board, along with MAC, UUID and Serial Number info (eg. a BIOS screenshot and pictures from the board stickers).
I need to reconstruct the bios on my board, based on another bios image form a real board - meaning a bios image containing MAC address, UUID and Serial number. A stock BIOS is not suffiecient, as it is impossible to discover where the MAC, UUID and SerialNumber are stored. Tried with a similar board, but there are too much differences, and the stock BIOS is missing a lot of...11-17-2023, 10:56 AM -

by GuestHello,
I have an EliteBook 850 G5. After a Windows update, including a BIOS update, the notebook turns on, but the screen remains black, and the fans spin at high speed—nothing else happens.
I assume the BIOS update failed, so I searched for the BIOS chip.
I found a Winbond chip located between the RAM and the hard drive, which has a size of 32 MB.
However, the BIOS update available on HP's website is only 17 MB in size. I used the update version that was previously installed when the notebook was still working.
Can the corrupted...-

by grimacelordThis laptop is the same laptop I was working on in this thread and I wasn't sure if I should post a new topic or post in that thread because I already solved the issue that thread was discussing and this is a completely different issue although it is dealing with the same laptop. I decided to make a new thread since it's a new issue, but please move if I made a mistake.
