Hi, I successfully restored windows 10, checked bios to see if it needed updating, pressed F9 to load defaults, F10 to save, now it asks for system password. Does anyone know how to reset CMOS on this board. I have removed CMOS battery, but it still asks for system password. Thank you for any help.
Hello!
I have a Dell Inspiron N5010 and I accidentally burnt the bios chips.
I replaced it with a new chip but I can't find the correct bios file.
I tried all files I found in the forum but only 2 of them actually boot. But they don't start the OS, they only boot in bios and can't boot from HDD or USB.
I don't have a dump bios since the original chip broke but I'm attaching the one that only boots in bios and not OS.
The Service Tag is [ C63V5N1 ] but in the Dell support it says "There is no match for that Service Tag" even though I'm 100% it's correct as displayed in the bios.
The board is 09909-1 DG15 MB 48.4HH01.011
The GPU is ATI 216-0772000 Radeon HD 5650M
