    Bios needed for Dell E6320

Can some one please help me with the master password for DELL e6430 BIOS password.

The BIOS is locked with admin password, without which I can't even change the boot sequence.

    The service tag is 9K7GWW1-1D3B
    The keyboard is QWERTY

    Thanks in advance

I think there is similar threads with same problem, so please use search. If i manage to find extra time, i will search it for you, but it would be at the end of the day.
If everything else fails, buy the BIOS chip on ebay and replace it. It is a small cost solution.

          Software solution
          1. Keygen: There is no public/free software solution for systems with Service Tag ending 1D3B.
          2. BIOS downgrade You have to downgrade to a previous edition of the BIOS whose last 4 letters of the Service Tag is 595B/D35B/2A7B/A95B etc. Then follow this free online service based on Dogbert's findings.
The process (Works for D630... needs to be tested for E6430.. ) is as follows:
            • Take HDD out first or it can lock it.
            • Find .HDR file for old version of BIOS for example for Dell D630 its BRIS***.HDR Where BRIS is short name for motherboard dell codename BRISBANE. and *** = A08 version.
            • Put this file in USB
            • How to make HDR? On most dell systems, type the following in administrative command prompt
              Code:
              bios.exe /writehdrfile
            • Now take battery and power cord out, plug in usb.
            • Hold END and POWER Button while pluging in power cord.
            • Now battery light starts blinking red green purple means its flashing. 2 minutes and it shuts off.
            • Now its A08 and password should work.

          Hardware solution
          1. First solution presented by dycc in the post here requires taking the CMOS chip off the mobo and using the programmer to over write it with a clean image (.BIN file). The tool costs around £26 in UK but I have no idea where to get the clean .BIN file for E6430.
          2. Second option is uses a Ultimate Boot CD to clear the CMOS using the WipeCMOS app.

I am tempted to try the second option, but In my case, booting from CD/ROM is disabled in BIOS.
My boot sequence is 1. NIC 2. HDD 3. USB HD...

If someone can help me with putting the Ultimate Boot CD image on USB to boot from it I may be able to test it.

Re: Dell E6430 BIOS help needed

I have a E6430 which was also locked. It also had the ***-1D3B lock code. First of all the easiest way to fix this would be to chat with a Dell tech support rep who was able to take my code and generate an unlock code. It was free since it is still under warranty. This will save you a lot of headache. you can try the code I was given but I'm pretty sure its specific to the service tag number. Good luck!

1Uv6017IUZN36T1h It is case sensitive and I had to hold ctrl while pressing enter.

Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.

Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...

I acquired two identical Dell 9010 Mid Tower computers from a business office upgrade (they were going to throw them out). Both of them have the same motherboard (00F82W). One of them works flawlessly. The other one had a corrupted BIOS. I tried flashing numerous main BIOS and EC files from the internet, but none of them worked. I decided to copy the main BIOS and EC from the working 9010 computer and successfully flashed the corrupted BIOS. This got the computer able to boot again and run norm...

Dell Optiplex 7010 micro bad BIOS flash?

                                          Hi folks,

I got a Dell Optiplex 7010 micro PC (Exact Model) with 8FC8 BIOS and locked out admin password. I attempted to remove the password by patching the BIOS via info from this thread: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...ssword-patcher
After flashing the patched the BIOS, the PC is unresponsive with a solid AMBER power LED (not documented in manual anywhere)

                                          Steps I took:
                                          1. Read BIOS with CH341a, verified hash twice
                                          2. Patched
                                          ...

Dell Precision T7910 no bios, no post after applying SAS/RAID setup

                                          Hi,

My Dell Precision T7910 died after enabling onboard SAS controller and applying RAID settings. There were no hardware changes between working and not working state, only setup (via bios -> controller settings). After applying settings and reboot PC turns on, flash leds (normally) but there's no further action, it just stays on with no graphics and no keyboard led's on. There's no Dell logo, nothing. I've tried resetting bios by jumper, replacing cpu's, replacing ram, removed/replaced cmos battery, disconnecting all drives etc. I've also dumped .bins from mobo chips SLI1 (16...
