5 beeps is not a bios issue. Check CMos battery voltage. If less then 3.0v then change it.

7 beeps on dell indicates processor failure. The reason can be a corrupt bios, bad ram stick, Vcore circuit fault, Dramrst signal missing or even the cpu itself can be bad.There can be other possibilities.
