BIOS for Lenovo ThinkBook 14 G8 IRL

Hello all,

I need the BIOS for the model mentioned above in order to remove Absolute, which is causing issues.

I acquired this device from a former employer, and for obvious reasons—given all the trouble and emotional distress involved—I do not wish to contact them again.

Here is the information I was able to retrieve by accessing the BIOS:

Product Name: ThinkBook 14 G8 IRL
UEFI BIOS Version: QZCN24WW (1.24)
UEFI BIOS Date: 2026-03-23
ME Firmware Version: 16.1.35.2538
Machine Type Model: 21TVA002BO
Lenovo SN: PE0F29L1

I have other information, but I believe it is irrelevant at this stage.

If possible, I would like a BIOS file that is easy to apply. I lack experience with EEPROM programmers (I used them in the past but no longer have the skills) and do not have the means to desolder the BIOS chip to program it off the motherboard.

Since I don't have experience with this subject, I’d like to ask if there is a tutorial on how to extract a BIOS dump without specialized tools, or perhaps a beginner-friendly guide you would recommend?

For that, I'm afraid you'll need an SPI Programmer. Read this guide > 1. How to dump and flash
Also watch some YouTube videos to get familiar with the process You'll find plenty for each programmer
