    Razer Blade 14 (2021) RZ09-0370 - Black Screen / Corrupted BIOS - Need Clean Dump with DMI

    Hello everyone,

    I am looking for some help repairing my laptop's BIOS. The machine experienced a bad flash/corruption (wrong parameters were used during the flashing process) and currently results in a black screen with no boot / no POST when powering on.

    This is what I did,

    AFUWINx64.EXE P1106.rom
    Instead of
    AFUWINx64.EXE P1106.rom /p /b /n /RLC:E


    I have successfully desoldered the BIOS chip and performed a 100% verified dump using a CH341A programmer and NeoProgrammer (multiple read.000s matched perfectly, 0% difference).

    Since the original BIOS structure is corrupted but the DMI block is still intact inside the dump, I would be extremely grateful if someone could help me repair/rebuild my original BIOS, or transfer my DMI data into the clean official stock BIOS.

    Per the forum rules, here are the exact machine and Max-board details:
    • Make: Razer
    • Full Machine Model: Razer Blade 14 (2021) - RZ09-0370
    • Serial Number: BY2129M392022253
    • Motherboard Model: Razer R16
    • BIOS IC: Winbond 25Q128JWSIQ (16MB / 1.8V / SOP8)

      Hi, The DMI, along with the Windows key I guess, are stored in the other EC chip
      That said, I'll still post this newer BIOS file for the thread. Good luck!

              I'm looking for a BIOS modder or anyone with experience who would give me suggestions about my razer blade's BIOS settings.
              I can view and edit the content of the BIOS .bin file with AMIBCP BIOS editor.
              The BIOS files I'm working with are from badcaps.net and those are CLEAN BIOS files (anyone can find it with the search string: RZ09-0421).

              Hi all,

              Looking for a clean BIOS dump for a Razer Blade Pro 17 FHD (RZ09-0220, 2017). Unit was bricked by power transients during a tropical storm shutdown in Hawaii. Razer has EOL'd this product and won't provide BIOS support.

              I have this laptop that does boot but it's on an older BIOS that has issues with Secure Boot, and I cannot use the normal Razer BIOS updater because for some reason the serial number is missing / got deleted somehow (Common issue on this model, from what I've read). I got a dump of the BIOS chip (or at least what I think is the BIOS chip), and its 16MB in size - the files from the Razer BIOS update are 8MB. (There's two 8MB files, am I supposed to combine these somehow? Or combine with an Intel ME firmware? I have no idea).
              So, I'm looking for a BIOS dump for this machine - a 16MB one....

              I have a Razer Blade 15 Advanced from 2020 model number RZ09-03304F42 that doesn't turn on, no led light and no charging. When I supply 19v the amperage goes to 6 amps for less than a second, and then drops to 0.5 amps for 1 second and drops once again to 0.1 amps, I checked the coils and they all give 0V, or some 0.4v. The power supply is working, and 19V enter the charging port, I followed its trace and it goes to a mosfet, which receives 19.5v at source, and 17.5v at gate, and goes to the other side of the board, but the coil there's 0V for some reason.
