    Dell Inspiron 16 7640 bios

    Hello

    I have dell Dell Inspiron 16 7640 P132F, It made an error during the update via USB drive and shut down completely. Please find attached the dump of both BIOS versions 128 and 256.

      Good morning all,

      I have a Dell P132F001 that is stuck on the Dell logo.
      I downloaded the update file from Dell, but I cannot figure out where to go from here.
      Can someone help with rebuilding this file please?
      Please provide DMI offsets too if you are able to help.

                          Unit is turning on again with this file. Hangs at DELL logo, then power cycles about once per minute.
                          Keeps repeating as long as I leave it plugged in.

                                      Amazing! Unit booted up on this file.
                                      Would you be able to fill me in on how this was accomplished?
                                      I was able to extract some files that looked like BIOS from the Dell download, but they did not work.
                                      I would love to learn and maybe help others in this forum some day.

                                          I recently bought a Dell G15 5515 with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800H and 3060 RTX. The BIOS chip on it was dead, and my hardware guy replaced the chip. After that, everything was working fine.

                                          The BIOS is currently at version 1.22.1, and I wanted to update it. I downloaded the latest BIOS version from Dell Support using my ST: FQZMYJ3, but when I tried to run it, it says "unsupported system." I asked my tech guy what he did, and he said he took the chip from another board and flashed it onto mine.

                                          I have a Dell XPS-15 (9520) with the LA-L402P motherboard. It seems to have bricked itself after a common BIOS-Firmware upgrade. Now, it just shows BIOS screen for a few seconds before turning-itself back Off (and doesn't seem to be fully Posting). I've done these many times before with no problems.
